Another South Korean built ship, the British owned LPG tanker NAVIGATOR VIRGO was spotted at Palumbo Malta Shipyard during the month of April. In fact she entered Grand Harbour on Monday 4th April at 0852 hrs coming from Arzew, Algeria bound for berthing at Factory Wharf.

On Friday 8th April she was shifted from Factory Wharf towards Parlatorio Wharf assisted by 2 tugs.

On Monday 11th April she was spotted drydocked at Dock 5 –

She was built in South Korea by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard at Ulsan as the MAERSK HONOUR delivered on 30th November,2009 trading until September 2013 where she was acquired by Navigator Gas, UK.

She traded in the Blue Maersk colour until 2014. She’s double hull with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Classification with 159 metres length and 25 metres beam. Her deadweight (DWT) is 23,273 tons.

She left the Facilities on Wednesday 27th April at 1922 hrs bound to OPL Malta for anchorage of which she left on Thursday 28th bound to Kalamata, Greece.
