On Wednesday 13th October at 1706 hrs on completion of the departure of an aframax tanker the offshore tug/supply ship GOOD WIND entered Grand Harbour coming from Crotone, Italy.

She entered French Creek bound to Palumbo Malta Shipyard and berthed at Factory Wharf.

On Thursday 21st October around 1530 hrs she shifted from Factory Wharf to Dock 4 for drydocking.

She was built in 2012 by Fujian Funing Shipbuilding Heavy Industry at Fu’an in China as the SK LINE 71 trading until November 2012 where she was renamed as VEGA CRUSADER homeported at Kristiansund (NOR) trading until 2016 and renamed CRESCENDO for few months and from May 2021 she’s being renamed as GOOD WIND.

On Saturday 6th November undocking from Dock 4 with the assistance of 2 local tugs happened and shifted her to Pinto 5 Wharf, Valletta Cruise Port. One could see her fresh hull and unfinished painting of her home port.

On Tuesday 9th November around 1145 hrs she shifted back again to Palumbo Malta Shipyard, this time to Parlatorio Wharf due to a United States Navy Vessel was calling and Pinto 5 was needed for security assessment.

And on Wednesday 10th November she left Grand Harbour at 0923 hrs and after sea trials etc she proceeded to Ceuta, Spain with her eta on Monday 15th November, 2021.
