The 2008 Chinese built Research/Seismic Vessel BGP CHALLENGER was spotted at 2100 hrs (2000 UTC) passing by 37.9 nautical miles off Valletta, Malta on Friday 28th December, 2018 while on passage from Las Palmas ( leaving 19.12.2018 ) to Dubai, UAE.
She was built by Bohai Oil Shiprepair at Tianjin in China with IMO : 9441532; 55m loa; PAN flag; 1,987 GRT. Former Names – TARPON 2 until April 2009.
