One of FUGRO Marine Services vessels was the seismic research vessel GEO PROSPECTOR.

She was built in Germany by Kremer Sohn at Elmshorn with yard number 1143 as PROSPEKTA in 1970 working for Prakla Seismos, Hannover and was managed by Sloman Neptun of Bremen, Germany until 1995. Then she traded as STEVNS CALYPSO until 1997 and since then as GEO PROSPECTOR.

She was 72 metres long with 11 metres as beam. During December 2007 while she was doing a seismic survey for routing the proposed Galsi gas pipeline across the Southern Mediterranean Sea between Algeria and Sardinia with SKANDI INSPECTOR, she discovered a WWI battleship built in Brest in 1910 as the French Navy DANTON preserved in 1000m of water at the bottom of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

In 2015 she was sold for demolition in Belgium by Galloo Recycling.
