One of the latest equipment belonging to the Dutch Geo Intelligence Provider Fugro was the 2015 built research vessel KOBI RUEGG that entered Grand Harbour, Malta last Thursday 29th April.

She was built in USA by Thoma Sea Shipbuilders at Lockport, Los Angeles as FUGRO AMERICAS until July 2017 where she was due the begin her first project for Saipem in the Mediterranean Sea. She’s named KOBI RUEGG in honour of a former member of the Board of Management at Fugro after he passed away in March 2017.

Her berth was at Pinto 3 Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port and left on Sunday 2nd May, 2021 bound to East Mediterranean.
