The aft part of the 89.90 metre inland tanker LADY SANDRA that was split in two on Wednesday 25th March, 2020 was found drifting 8 miles off Djerba Island on Tuesday 12th May.

On Monday 25th May the Tunisian Navy towed the aft part from the island and sank it with limpet mines by naval divers. She was sank 24 km east of Ras el Kastil in 50 meters with coordinates that will remain confidential until the debris is a site that protects fish and contributes to their multiply of which the Ministry of Agriculture has chosen the location.
