Vessel was launched on December 19th, 1969 as NECKARTAL for Transanglia Schiffahrts GmbH (J.A. Reinecke), Hamburg, Germany of which she was built by Krogerweft GmbH, Rendsburg, Germany as Yard No 1355 and was delivered on April 1st, 1970 with commencing service on various routes including chartering to Viking Line and British Railways Board.
November 13th, 1974 she was sold to a French Company and renamed SCHIAFFINO.
In 1986 she was sold and renamed ALNILAM operating routes between Italy and North Africa.
In 1991 she was sold and renamed ALBA. during 1996 she was chartered to Montenegro Lines operating between Bar, Montenegro and Bari, Italy.
November 2006 she was sold again and renamed ANTONIA flying a Moldova Flag.
And unfortunately on September 15th ,2012 she arrived at Aliaga, Turkey for breaking up
