Bezzina Ship Repair Yard (BSRY) is a complete Ship and Yacht repair facility for vessels of steel, aluminium, CRP and wood. It is a privately family owned and situated at Coal Wharf, Grand Harbour inner side.
An interesting vessel calling at the yard during March 2023 was the 1986 built vessel SEA EAGLE homeported at Amsterdam (NLD) and belong to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society.
She entered Grand Harbour on Monday 6th March at 1622 hrs coming from Augusta, Sicily and few days later she was drydocked at one of the 2 former Admiralty reinforced concrete floating docks (RCFD).
She was built in France by Constructions Reparations Navales De Paimboeuf at Paimbouef as the Pilot Vessel LA COURONNEE III for the river Loire (Saint Nazaire & Nantes) delivered in November 1986 and trading until January 2011 where she was sold and renamed as STORMBAS II as a standby/safety vessel.
In 2021 she was acquired by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and renamed SEA EAGLE with accommodation for 19 souls.
