One of the famous ro/ro ships built at Gdansk Shipyard, Poland as the Soviet vessel YURIY MAKSARYOV was seen at Valletta, Malta back on the 26th July, 2004 when she was named NDS PRODIGY running for NileDutch Africa Line.
She was built in 1986 with IMO : 8500666 , 22,211 GRT and 17,773 DWT.
She carried the Soviet name until August 1996 where she was renamed HUDSON until September 1997; SILKEBORG until November 1998; NDS PRODIGY until May 2009 and NILEDUTCH PRODIGY until December 2009. Then she was renamed PRODIGY and since she was broken up.
