On New Year’s Day of 2017, a ship to ship (STS) Operation between the 270 m crude oil tanker BLUE TRADER and the 182 m chemical/oil products tanker KRISJANIS VALDEMARS was photographed from the air by MALTA SHIP PHOTOS offshore Malta.

BLUE TRADER was built in China by Dalian New Shipbuilding Heavy Industry in 1997 while KRISJANIS VALDEMARS was built in South Korea by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in 2007.
