One of the British Petroleum (BP) tankers  that was seen at Malta as the BRITISH WILLOW, was seen again 3 years later after she was sold and renamed as AFRA WILLOW.

The crude oil tanker BRITISH WILLOW was built at Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co Ltd at Numakuma in Japan in 2003.

Her life with BP ended in February 2013 where she was sold to Navig8 Group of Singapore and renamed as AFRA WILLOW.

During August 2016 she entered Marsaxlokk Harbour bound to Oil Tanking Terminal Jetty 3.
