One of the frequent tankers around the world in Maltese waters is the 2002 built chemical/oil products tanker BAUCI.

She was built in South Korea by STX Shipbuilding Co Ltd at Seoul and when tankers used to transfer fuel oil for Enemalta from Grand Harbour, Malta towards Marsaxlokk Harbour or vice versa, she used to be here.

Recalling those days back in 2007 she was seen entering Valletta bound to Flagstone Wharf replacing the Italian tanker SHOGUN on Thursday 1st February, 2007.

She left Flagstone Wharf on Friday 2nd February, 2007 early afternoon shifting to Marsaxlokk Harbour.

Then we saw her on Saturday 21st April, 2007 berthing once again at Flagstone Wharf.
