TASMANIA is an island state of Australia and it is located 240 km to the south of the mainland separated by Bass Strait. The state encompasses the main island of Tasmania, the 26th largest world island and the surrounding 334 islands.

On Friday 15th February the 2006 built HKG flag bulker CORIO BAY was seen underway up to Macquarie Wharf no 4 in Hobart, Tasmania,
Australia from Anchorage to complete loading of logs for shipment to China. IMO : 9311426; 175 m; 19,796 GRT.
Also on the same day there was the arrival of the 2010 built BMU flag cruise liner QUEEN ELIZABETH seen here on her first arrival in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia berthing at Macquarie Wharf no 2/3. IMO : 9477438; 294 m; 90,901 GRT.
Also there was the 2018 built NIS flag cruise liner VIKING ORION seen here anchored near Hobart, Tasmania, Australia and making her way up to Macquarie Wharf no 4. She was required to go to anchor for the morning due to the inevitability of a secure berth. IMO: 9796250; 221 m; 47,861 GRT.
