During August, 2010 an interesting towage was seen within territorial waters (wtw) of Malta consisting of the Dutch owned tug EAST towing the flat top barge TMI 7 loaded with the 63.50 m sailing yacht MIKHAIL S. VORONTSOV hull.

Tug EAST was built in Malaysia by Kian Juan Dockyard at Miri as yard number KJD 106 in 2009 as twin screw tug with bollard pull of 32 tonnes.

Meanwhile barge TMI 7 was homeported at Antwerp, Belgium (BEL Flag) with the Turkish built hull (Dreamship Victory) of the 63.50m 3 masted sailing yacht MIKHAIL S. VORONTSOV to be completed in the Netherlands by Scheepswerf Balk Urk, Netherlands.

Once the weather was more calmer, tug EAST entered Valletta for uplifting bunkers by OILSTONE , berthing at Pinto 3 wharf, part of VISET (now Valletta Cruise Port).
