Fairplay 28, moved, for the first
time after arriving from Trieste
last December, to Stellendam for
maintanance. The tug was built
in 2015 as a Cintranaval-Defcar,
Spain design by Bogazici
Denizcilik A.S., Turkey as the
Bogazici 20 (Imo 9765043).
Delivered to Ocean Koper Doo –
Koper; Slovenia as Adler. In 2018
sold to Fairplay and renamed
Fairplay-28. She has a length o.a. of 32.50 mtrs a length b.p. of 27.60 mtrs a moulded breath of 11.70
mtrs a depth of 5.60 mtrs and a design draft of 4.30 mtrs. The two Caterpillar 3516C diesel engines
rated a total output of 4,200 kW at 1,600 rpm with a free sailing speed of 13 knots and a bollard pull
of 72.44 tons. She is classed Bureau Veritas I X Hull Mach; Escort tug, Salvage tug with notations
Fire Fighting Ship 1; Water spraying, Unrestricted Navigation, Aut-Ums; Aut-Port; IWS.
