During the month of June, 3 tugs belonging to the Dutch Company Multraship Towage & Salvage based at Terneuzen, Netherlands called at Malta within 5 days.

The first to call was the 16.76 metre 2020 Damen built tug MULTRATUG 24 homeported in Constanta, Romania (ROM) operated by Multraship Romania Srl entering Grand Harbour on Sunday 6th June at 1328 hrs with her last port of call was Lavrio, Greece and berthing at Pinto 3 Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port (VCP). Originally she was expected on Saturday morning but due to weather conditions she was delayed.

On Tuesday 8th June at 2234 hrs she left Valletta bound to Mellitah, Libya but returned back due to strong North Westerly Wind.

She left Valletta on Thursday 10th June at 2239 hrs bound to Mellitah, Libya being the lead tug.

Then on Thursday 10th June the 2008 built 35.70 metre long with 70 tons of bollard pull tug MULTRATUG 17 entered Valletta at 0846 hrs berthing at MMH Facilities with more than 2 x 20ft TEU’s on her deck together with a workboat. She left Valletta bound to Mellitah, Libya at 2241 hrs

Joining her was the 2013 built 28.67 metre long with 63.2 tons of bollard pull tug MULTRATUG 27 that entered Valletta at 0847 hrs berthing at MMH Facilities with at least 2 x 10ft TEU’s as Oil Spill Recovery Equipment on her deck . She left Valletta at 2241 hrs bound to Mellitah, Libya.
