Busy Monday as usual with Grimaldi Lines ropax’s EUROFERRY OLYMPIA calling from midnight to around 0430 hrs with the 200m ropax EUROCARGO MALTA calling from 0830 to 1900 hrs.

Also 2 Tirrenia/Moby Cargo vessels with the 2003 built ITA flag ropax MASSIMO MURA leaving Valletta at 0814 hrs with the PRT flag chartered ro/ro PAULINE RUSS entering at 0820 hrs replacing her berth at DWQ 4.

Interesting move seen on Monday was the 2018 built DAN flag high speed craft EXPRESS 4 entering Valletta at 0926 hrs during her delivery voyage to have 6/7 hours of bunkering from road tankers to complete her voyage to Denmark. She was built as Austal Hull 393 at their Henderson Shipyard in Western Australia for Molslinjen, a ferry operator in Denmark.
As cargo ships we had the departure of the 80 metre, 1982 built PAN flag NS DANTE leaving from Magazine Wharf.
Meanwhile in the afternoon at Cassar Ship Repair Yard – 2 vessels were undocking and shifting to their berth from the floating dock CAMILEON. These were the Maltese owned and flagged 1972 built bunkering tanker BAWA-I and the Italian owned and flagged 1998 built tugboat GAGLIARDO.
Tuesday 19th February ,2019.
First movement was the entry of the 1998 built NLD flag general cargo ship RHODANUS that berthed at Magazine Wharf.
On completion we had the departure of the 2009 built PAN flag asphalt/bitumen tanker NEPHEL from Magazine Wharf.
Cruise liner of the day was the 2017 built MLT flag MSC MERAVIGLIA berthing at her normal berth – Pinto 1 and 2 wharves at Valletta Cruise Port.
Around 0915 hrs the 2011 built ATG flag offshore tug/supply ship OOC JAGUAR left Valletta from MMH Facilities Quay Wall 2 East.
Following her was the 300 metre 2014 built MLT flag container vessel MSC AJACCIO that left from Palumbo Malta Shipyard Dock 6.
Around 1100 hrs the 1985 built LTU flag general cargo ship DIAMANT entered berthing at Laboratory Wharf South 2.
At 1421 hrs the 2004 built BMU flag chemical/oil products tanker STENA CONCERT entered Valletta bound to Factory Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd.
Wednesday 20th February,2019
At 0009 hrs the 1992 built PAN flag general cargo ship NS HELSE left Valletta from Fuel Wharf.
At 0030 hrs the local tugboat SPINOLA left Valletta bound to Augusta.
Following her at 0031hrs was the entry of the Albanian flag and owned general cargo ship EDRO IV berthing at Laboratory Wharf.
Then at 0524 hrs the 1996 built PAN flag general cargo ship NS HOLLAND entered and berthed at DWQ 1.
First move after 0600 hrs was the entry of the 1996 built Turkish flag and owned general cargo ship YM ARAL berthing at Magazine Wharf. She’s the former Estonian ship DIRHAMI.
Coming from Savona, Italy the 1983 built LBR flag vehicle carrier NIVIN entered Valletta at 0727 hrs berthing at Fuel Wharf and left at 1826 hrs.
Coming from Tripoli, Libya entering Valetta at 1151 hrs the 2018 built Italian flag and owned tugboat PARAGGI entered Valletta berthing at Timber Wharf and left to Augusta, Sicily at 1652 hrs.
Meanwhile at Cassar Ship Repair Yard – The 2009 built Italian flag and owned offshore tug/supply ship VOS HESTIA shifted to the floating dock for drydocking.
At 1435 hrs the general cargo ship RHODANUS left Valletta from Magazine Wharf.
At 1500 hrs the 2005 built SGP flag crude oil tanker MAERSK PEARL shifted from Parlatorio Wharf to Dock no 6 at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd assisted by 4 tugs.
Thursday 21st February, 2019.
From 0338 to 1101 hrs the PRT flag Tirrenia/Moby Cargo chartered ro/ro PAULINE RUSS was at Valletta berthed at DWQ 4.

At 0506 hrs the local tugboat SPINOLA entered Valletta from Augusta, Sicily berthing at Timber Wharf.
2 minutes later at 0508 hrs to 1320 hrs the Grimaldi lines 200 metre ropax EUROCARGO GENOVA was berthed at Laboratory Wharf.

At 1118 hrs the general cargo ship DIAMANT left Valletta Laboratory Wharf South 2.
At 1847 hrs the 2017 built NLD flag and owned Platform Supply Ship (PSV) VOS PATIENCE left Valletta from MMH Facilities Quay Wall 1 West bound to Damietta, Egypt.
The 1968 built MLT flag and owned crane ship GOLD DREDGER entered Valletta coming from Blue Lagoon Jetty, Comino after involved in jetty repairs berthing at Church Wharf. (Notice to Mariners 009 in force )
Friday 22nd February, 2019.

At 0914 hrs the 2000 built GRC flag ropax KNOSSOS PALACE entered Valletta berthing at Parlatorio Wharf, Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd.

At 0923 hrs the 1999 built Maltese flag and owned supply ship MARIA-C left Valletta from MMH Facilities to Outside Territorial Waters (OTW) to supply the 2007 built GBR flag drillship STENA DRILLMAX that was being supported by the platform supply vessel DEMAREST TIDE.
At 1322 hrs the general cargo ship NS HELSE left Valletta from Fuel Wharf.
At 1352 hrs the 1988 built PAN flag cement carrier SEAVEN LUCK entered Valletta bound to Fuel Wharf.
At 1630 hrs the general cargo ship YM ARAL left Valletta from Magazine Wharf.
At 1659 hrs the general cargo ship EDRO IV left Valletta from Gun Wharf 2.
Saturday 23rd February,2019.
From 0425 to 1228 hrs the Grimaldi lines 200 metre ropax EUROCARGO MALTA was berthed at Laboratory Wharf.

From 0520 to 1202 hrs the 2003 built ITA flag ropax MASSIMO MURA was at Valletta berthed at DWQ 4.

At 0927 hrs the 1984 built MOL flag general cargo ship THUNDER entered Valletta berthing at Pinto 3 Wharf awaiting SEAVEN LUCK to complete cargo operations at Fuel Wharf.
At 1318 hrs the 2002 built Italian flag and owned offshore tug/supply ship FRATELLI FAZIO entered Valletta berthing at Church Wharf coming from Zarzis, Tunisia to shelter from weather conditions forecasted.
Sunday 24th February, 2019.
All movements were cancelled due to severe NE Gale Force 8-9.
Meanwhile duty tugboat MARI was called to push on the 2009 built PRT flag multi purpose ship (MPP) HHL RIO DE JANEIRO berthed at Pinto 4 and 5 wharves due to the gale in force.
