On Monday 3rd May, 2021 the first Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) vehicle carrier in 2021 , the DIGNITY ACE entered Grand Harbour, Malta during her maiden call at 0620 hrs coming from Piraeus, Greece berthing at Laboratory Wharf part of Valletta Gateway Terminals (VGT).
She was built in 2010 by Hyundai Mipo Dockyard at Ulsan, South Korea as yard number 8036 completed on 19th September, 2010. Her length overall (LOA) is 199.95 meters with a beam of 32.29 meters
She can carry 6,500 CEU’s with 12 decks including 4 Hoistable Decks. She was assisted by local tugs SEA SALVOR and VITTORIOSA. She left later in the afternoon at 1441 hrs bound to Livorno, Italy.
