The 2020 built 107 metre superyacht MAR entered Grand Harbour, Malta during her maiden call on Saturday 1st July at 1621 hrs coming from Suez Canal.
Built in Italy by Benetti Yachts at their Livorno shipyard, her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Benetti and she was delivered to her owner in June 2020 as LANA of which she also called at Malta on her maiden call back to August 2020.

She was built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She’s powered by twin diesel-electric Rolls-Royce Marine (Electric Motor) 3,755hp engines of which her cruising speed is 16 knots.
Upon arrival no Pilotage service was needed and she’s homeported at George Town with Cayman Islands Flag (CYM).
Up to 16 guests can be accommodated on board the superyacht of which she has also accommodation for 34 crew members, including the ship’s captain.
Initially owned by a Russia-born millionaire involved in the automotive industry, the yacht MAR had welcomed celebrities like Beyonce and her family. However, in January 2023, ownership changed hands, with the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi with her owner reportedly is Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed al Nahyan.
She proceeded to MMH Malta Facilities for uplifting bunkers by road trucks and left Malta on Sunday 2nd July at 2202 hrs bound to Golfo Aranci, Sardinia.
