KALIZMA is a 50.29 metre classic private yacht built in 1906 by Ramage & Ferguson at Leith, Scotland as MINONA. She was later renamed CORTYNIA and ODYSSEIA.
She was requisitioned by the Royal Navy during both World Wars and underwent several major refits and remodelling during her lifetime.
In 1967 she was bought by the Welsh Actor Richard Burton for his second wife, actress Elizabeth Taylor and renamed her KALIZMA.
After several change of ownerships she was bought in 1995 by the indian businessman Vijay Vittal Mallya .
During 2006 she completed a major refit in India to restore her in her original design reportedly costing £3 million
