KARIMA was built in 1993 by Amels in Makkum, Netherlands as MAUPITI. Currently sailing under the flag of Bermuda (BMU) and she was last refitted in 2007. She is powered by Caterpillar engines of 745 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Her maximum range is estimated at 5000 nautical miles and can accommodate 10 guests in 5 cabins. She is currently for sale for $ 12,000, 000.
Last Wednesday 13th November 2019 she was seen berthed at Manoel Island Marina.
She left to Gibraltar on Thursday 14th November, 2019.
