One of the Dutch built yachts currently active worldwide is the 29 years old lady MY LADY.
She was built in 1994 by Scheepswerf Hakvoort at Monnickendam, Netherlands originally as BOLD BUCCLEUGH but was renamed LADY MARINA for Sergio Mantegazza who is the successful owner of the widely recognized travel group, Group Voyagers, and the associated brands Globus and Cosmos. Designed by the iconic Diana Yacht Design, the yacht stands as a symbol of elegance and craftsmanship in the yachting world.
In 1998 she was sold and renamed as LADY M for 2 years where she was sold and renamed again as LADY M II homeported at Majuro, Marshall Islands (MHL) of which she was seen at Malta too.

And last Thursday 7th December, 2023 she was seen entering Grand Harbour with Harbour Pilot assistance as MY LADY.
The current owner of the yacht is none other than billionaire Lord Michael Ashcroft. A renowned British businessman, philanthropist, and politician, Lord Michael Ashcroft is a distinguished member of the House of Lords and the former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party in the UK. He has earned fame for his diversified investments across sectors such as security, technology, and property. Additionally, he is believed to own another prestigious vessel, the yacht ATLANTIC GOOSE.
With Caterpillar diesel engines, granting her an impressive max speed of 16 knots and a smooth cruising speed of 12 knots with a range of over 3,000 nautical miles. She boasts a robust steel hull and a lightweight aluminum superstructure, embodying the perfect blend of strength and agility.
Her accommodation is for 10 guests and 10 crew members including Captain.
