Malta’s strategic position in the centre of the Mediterranean with one of the world’s most beautiful natural harbours, accessible and Our Beautiful islands has became a top yachting destination to the Mediterranean.

Summer is getting nearer with temperatures rising up ( At the time of writing temperature is 27°C ). Here are some movements of a busy weekend from Friday 14th May to Monday 17th May, 2021 at the Grand Harbour (Valletta), Malta –

Friday 14th May –

0950 hrs – The 1999 built MLT flag 38 metres motor yacht LADY IN BLUE left Grand Harbour Marina (GHM) for local cruising with guest onboard heading to Cominotto. She returned back to Grand Harbour at 1453 hrs.

1039 hrs – The 2007 built 33.8 metre Turkish Gulet yacht PAPA JOE entered GHM coming from Bodrum, Turkey.

1349 hrs – The 2016 built MHL flag superyacht NEW SECRET entered back to GHM mooring at her place to the Resinex Buoys stern to St. Angelo Wharf.

Saturday 15th May –

0645 hrs – The 2009 built CYM flag 60 metre yacht SLIPSTREAM left Valletta from Palumbo Superyachts bound to Port Adriano in Palma Di Majorca.

Monday 17th May –

0908 hrs – The 1964 built MLT flag 43 metre yacht LADY GOODGIRL left Valletta bound to Siracusa, Sicily with 9 crew from Bezzina Ship Repair Yard (BSRY)

1015 hrs – The 2003 built 79 metre superyacht PEGASUS VIII which is moored to the Resinex Buoys stern to St. Angelo Wharf, GHM requested permission from Valletta VTS to discharge her jetskis and Tender 2 for 2 hours sea trials off the harbour.

Toys and tenders including Tender 2 were spotted.

1749 hrs – The 2021 built ITA flag 30 metre Maiora yacht H6.0 entered Grand Harbour bound to GHM. Her last port of call was Anzio, Italy.
