On Saturday 1st July, 2023 the Portuguese built 49.8 metres yacht ESPADARTE was seen leaving Grand Harbour, Malta at 1141 hrs.

She was built by Arsenal do Alfeite in Portugal at their Alfeite shipyard in 1968 and this classic yacht is a repetitive client of Bezzina Ship Repair Yard (BSRY) from where she casted off.

Bezzina Ship Repair Yard (BSRY) is part of BEZZINA GROUP – www.bezzinagroup.com which they are our SPONSORS too.

She was built as DONAPILA II and after 1974 she was sold to the Saudi based Sheikh Mouffak Al Midani who renamed her MYRNA II.

During the 90’s  she was acquired by the Greek Shipowner  John Karageorgis,  who renamed the yacht as INDIARAMA, then DEERRAMA and RAMA .

Later on she was spotted at Malta mainly moored at Manoel Island Marina as THEA.

Her next port of call was Syracuse, Sicily of which she arrived at 1951 hrs and at the time of writing she’s anchored at Taormina, Sicily.
