One of the Taiwanese built vessels in the world is the 32.52 metres motor yacht ZARINA homeported at Valletta (MLT Flag).
She was designed and built by President Yachts, Taiwan at their Tainan City shipyard with delivery to her owner in 2008 The company’s workers followed the precise specifications of the Maltese owner who, according to Christer Lundquist of Eagle Marine, the Swedish society that represents the shipyard in Europe, contributed through his experience to the creation of space on the graceful vessel.
With a beam of 7.22 metres and a draft of 1.93 metres, she has a GRP hull with GRP superstructure. She is powered by Caterpillar engines of 1825 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. Her mooring is at Manoel Island Marina, Marsamxett Harbour.
