Two Maltese Flag (MLT) 48 metre motor yacht LEGACY V and 47 metre motor yacht STARBURST III were seen berthed at Marina di Valletta, Marsamxett Harbour during May/June 2021.
First to arrive was the 48 metre yacht LEGACY V that entered on Sunday 9th May, 2021 at 1434 hrs as MQ2. She was built by Van Lent & Zonen at Zaag, Netherlands as WHALE TALE IV, renamed as KISSES until 1999, MAYAN QUEEN until 2007 of which we saw her in Malta, MARION QUEEN until 2013 with LUX flag and finally renamed MQ2 homeported at Valletta (MLT Flag)
On Thursday 10th June, 2021 at 0850 hrs she shifted to MMH Facilities at Grand Harbour with her new name as LEGACY V (Though on AIS she was still showing as MQ2).
The 47.50 metre motor yacht STARBURST III entered on Monday 10th May, 2021 at 1708 hrs. She was built by Bilgin Yachts, Turkey as NERISSA of which was sold and refitted in 2019 emerging with her current name of which she was seen moored at Grand Harbour Marina (GHM) in April 2019.
She left Marsamxett Harbour on Saturday 12th June at 1723 hrs with 19 souls onboard bound to Syracuse (Siracusa) with a stop at Comino.
