One of the finest 32 Qatari Flag (QAT) yachts trading around the world is the 2022 built 38.22 metres motor yacht AL GASSAR 2022. She called at Valletta, Malta last Thursday 8th August passing breakwaters at 0641 hrs bound to moor at V8 Resinex buoy at Vittoriosa Wharf, Grand Harbour Marina (GHM) for uplifting bunkers.
She is one of 21 Grande Trideck models and built by Azimut at Viareggio, Italy delivered in 2022.
She is powered by 2 MTU Diesel Engines, which give her a top speed of 24 knots while she carries 22,500 litres of fuel on board.
Exterior design is by the Monaco based Alberto Mancini Yacht Design of Montecarlo while the interior design is by the Italian based Salvagni Architetti at Rome. She can accommodate 10 guests with accommodation for 8 crew members, including the ship’s captain.
On completion of bunkers and provisions, she requested permission to heave harbour on VHF Ch 12 to Valletta VTS of which permission was granted and left breakwaters at 1343 hrs bound to Palma De Majorca, Spain.
