The first out of 2 Nakilat Damen Yacht 69 model based on the Damen 6711/6911 yacht support vessel – UM ALHOUL was at Malta on Monday 18th October for uplifting bunkers. She was due to arrive at Malta on Sunday 17th but due to technical reasons at Barcelona, Spain ( of which she also made sea trials ) she delayed her arrival. In fact she left Spain on Saturday 16th October at 1546 hrs.

She was built in 2018 by Nakilat Damen Shipyards Qatar Ltd under the project name as AL JASSASIYA I. She has a steel hull with Steel and Aluminium superstructure. Her main engines are 4 x MTU 16V 4000 M63L Diesel Engines with 4 Propellers with maximum speed of 20 knots.

Known as the 71.5 metre fast diving vessels (FDV) homeported in Doha, Qatar she’s owned by AMIRI YACHTS. She was full of ribs and tenders with an interesting Newton 36 Dive Special boat model certified for 20 divers or for 30 Passengers.

She left Valletta on the same day at 1821 hrs bound to Salalah, Oman via Suez Canal arriving yesterday Wednesday 27th October. She was berthed at Pinto 2 Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port.
