On Tuesday 6th August 2019 the 55.5 m support yacht B 3 entered Valletta bound to Grand Harbour Marina mooring at St. Angelo Wharf during her delivery voyage from Damen Turkey. She’s a yacht of the popular YS 5009 design.

Built of steel and aluminium, B3 has been configured to house 6 guests across 3 suites; making her suitable for short breaks away from the mother yacht or even a complete yachting solution. The crew quarters meanwhile allow for a crew of 7, as well as 4 pilots, security guards or guides.

She features a sundeck and a main deck lounge with panoramic views and also an impressive carrying capability of multiple tenders and toys. With interior volume of 489 GT; B3 has a 12 tonne deck crane and stern A-frame fittings for efficient launch and retrieval of large and heavy equipment like submersibles. Thanks to four Caterpillar 35122.C diesel engines she has a top speed of above 20 knots.
